The domain registry operators have filed for and
received approval from ICANN for an unprecedented
industry wide price increase. In our opinion, these
increases are not justified but we have exhausted all
avenues of appeal and failed in our fight to avoid
them.
Effective
immediately, we will be increasing our prices for new domain
registrations, renewal transactions and domain transfers for
each TLD.
Some
Registrars have taken this opportunity to increase their
profit
margin by adding a price increase on top of these additional
registry
charges. Virtual-Comm will not be following this
questionable path.
Our domain name prices will only
increase by the lowest amount authorized by ICANN and our supplier not a penny
more. We do not believe that it is appropriate in situations
like these to make a few more pennies profit at the expense
of our customers valued business partners.
You
may wish to renew your domain names before this price
increase takes place. Multi-year renewals and new
registrations that take place
before the increases takes effect will be billed at the
current per domain, per year rate regardless of
the renewal or registration term. Please be sure to choose the payment plan that is best for you or contact us for assistance.

In
response to the registry fee increase, we did all we could
to keep our pricing the same for new signups and yearly
renewals. Some parts of our website, print ads and referral
websites may still advertise lower pricing - This will soon be
updated to reflect the fee increase.
